When was the last time you visited the late 1960s on acid? Daniel Snaith, the brains behind Dundas, Ontario based Caribou, was obviously there yesterday. It shouldn't really come as a surprise that Snaith claims to have come up with name "Caribou" whilst tripping on LSD in the Canadian wilderness with some friends. Caribou is so psychedelic it almost hurts. The sounds Snaith creates evoke memories of tie-die t-shirts, love-ins, and lots and lots of drugs, even though I was born almost a decade after the 60s ended - that's how good this stuff is. Check out their myspace, and find a show near you. They are touring all over Canada and Europe so for my readers on both sides of the Atlantic, it should be possible.
