There's just kind of this magical moment that happens when you click with someone musically. I have to admit that going into the jam I was a bit nervous. It's been a while since I've played with others, and this was the first time that I've played "my" songs with somebody else. I'm used to jamming with others when we're playing somebody else's, or collective, songs; so playing "band leader" was a new experience for me that went rather well.
Mark is a fantastic drummer with a jazz background and he brings a totally different but awesome twist to Beware! The Leopard songs. We're going to try and get the material in shape so that he can join me on Friday's gig, which would be awesome, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for a more driving Beware! The Leopard!
